What I learned today is that many students in school aren't used to actually being given the choice to decide what they desire to do then what the teacher whats their students to do. We have been so used to following the teachers instructions for so long that be given the chance to do something seems foreign. Then again many schools have teacher led classrooms.

In my Introduction to Education class or Intro to Ed. for short, a teacher led classroom is designed for teachers needs. Classrooms are usually quiet and controlled and teachers usually focus on student level content.

With what I learned about this, I felt that I could able to connect this with what I learned in my first semester of Intro to Ed.

AN EARTH-SHATTERING FART

The story "A Sound of Thunder", it was just wow. I can't imagine that just one small thing that changes, can make a really big difference.

A Run to Remember pt. 2

I just finished running/walking around the track and I was able to run/walk 11 miles in 4 hours. That is like 44 laps. I feel proud of myself that I was able to accomplish a goal.

A Run to Remember

Today is Veteran's Day. Today at SMHS, there is an event that is called "A Run to Remember". In this event, you either run, walk or both and after you run a mile, get a Bio and a picture of a veteran who died in war. For each mile you do, you get another bio.

Today is not a day to be happy because of the fact that we don't have school today. Today is the day to remember those who have sacrificed themselves for their country. To pray for their family members who are suffering for the loss of a loved one. I am here participating for I feel it is the right thing to do even if I don't know or never heard of the veterans.
